Taste of Bethesda: 50 Local Spots Serving Everything You Can Imagine

Once a year, Taste of Bethesda shuts down Woodmont Triangle for the afternoon and turns the neighborhood into one big block party filled with colorful balloons, live music, and serving tables where you can sample more than 50 local restaurants and food spots in Bethesda.

Taste of Bethesda is an annual event that has been running for over three decades.

You’ll find hand-lettered chalkboard menus advertising margaritas and tacos in exchange for $2 or $3 tickets, and booths from spots like Agora, Aventino Cucina, AP Pizza, The Organic Butcher, Ruta, Babycat Brewery and Tout de Sweet pastry shop just to name a very few of the 50 participating restaurants and businesses.

Norfolk, St. Elmo, and Cordell Avenues fill with crowds moving between tents and restaurant patios where you can also grab a drink and watch the whole scene unfold.

If you missed the food festival this year, it’s back every Fall, and is definitely one of the most popular downtown Bethesda events where the whole neighborhood shows up.
